About

We have been organising this event in the last two years. We had Beata Aleksandrowicz, massage therapist and co-founder of Pure Massage who had this amazing idea in 2007. This was an important step in making the general public more aware of massage therapy in care homes.

In 2008 our dedicated therapist, Mahala Gale continued the work by participating and organizing the event.

Their efforts had a positive response and the whole project had a high demand in these last two years. We are expanding our London based project so that therapists from across the UK can now take part in this amazing day!

This year, it will be me, Iuliana Simion, massage therapist who would take care and organize the event together with my colleagues at Pure Massage. We chose the day in December so that therapists can provide treatments free of charge two weeks before Christmas to these sometimes forgotten members of our society.

Before all of us might get busy with our schedule in preparations for parties, holidays, good food and gathering with the loved ones let’s do something different this year.

Let’s start with the simple yet the most profound form of communication, touch.

We want to make this event meaningful and we need you and your generosity to give your time and caring touch. We believe in the positive change you can make through the safest therapeutic approach, the non-invasive massage therapy.

We want all dedicated therapists to put their intention, their good will exactly in this day so that we provide a relaxing and unique experience for many of our elderly.
Bring joy this Christmas! You never know whose life you might have silently touched forever!
