Touch a Heart Agreement

I agree that I take full responsibility for my actions while participating in the ‘Touch a Heart’ event; that I am covered only by my own insurance and that all the event organisers and Pure Massage are in no way liable for me or my actions at any time during the event.

I agree that I will be acting as an ambassador for ‘Touch a Heart’ – Massage Day to the elderly throughout the whole day, and will therefore dress and behave accordingly at all times – including all breaks and times while not massaging. Being smart, open and approachable for any queries that anyone may have with regards to the event and massage in general.

I agree that I will treat everyone participating in the event (other massage therapists; organisers; elderly citizens and their carers) with the upmost respect at all times. Being very careful while massaging the elderly to make them as comfortable as possible before, during and after the treatment. I agree to follow suggestions that because of the very specifc conditions of giving massages on that day to sometimes very old and seriously ill people, I will give seated or lying down massages, fully clothed, including face, hands and feet massage always taking into account any pre-existing medical conditions that they may suffer from and adjusting their 15 minute treatment accordingly.

I agree that after the treatment day I will fill in the feedback form and return this within a week following the event day.
